Emily Roynesdal received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Drake University in August of 2000. Her education concentrated on developing technique in both two- and three-dimensional work and this has continued to influence her work throughout her career. Emily has been a working artist in Chicago and New York. She completed a residency at the Boulder Creative Collective in 2021 and currently has a studio in Denver.
