BITCOIN 2021-07-14
This collection includes 10 unique NFTs created from sections of the original painting “BITCOIN: 2021-07-14 08:10.01” which intended to symbolize Bitcoin the day the FBI issued a serious bitcoin and crypto alert, July 24, 2021.
The original painting is part of my “Following the Tape” series that began in 2007 with the intent of documenting the diminishing role of the trader within the financial market setting and later focused more on specific events that occurred within the market. Most paintings in the series are assigned a title of a date stamp, similar to what is found on a trade ticket.
